About the photograph

The storm arrived quickly, darkening the harbour and flattening the light. Lightning traced across the sky in sharp, branching lines, while below it all the Sydney Opera House held steady, its sails pale against the deepening blue. Sky, water, form: the quiet balance between movement and permanence.
