Ordering & payment

How purchasing works.

Useful information before you add a fine art photograph to your cart.

Keep policy details current. When a shipping, tax, payment or production term changes, update this FAQ and its linked policy page together.
Are prices shown in Australian dollars?

Yes. Prices are displayed in Australian dollars. GST is included for Australian orders, while the tax treatment of international orders is calculated at checkout.

Can I use Afterpay?

Afterpay is available to eligible Australian customers. Select Afterpay at checkout, follow the registration or login prompts, and complete the purchase using the instalment schedule shown by Afterpay.

What happens when I order a pre-order item?

Your order will be sent when the pre-order item becomes available. When a pre-order product is purchased with other items, the complete order is generally held and shipped together. The expected timing should be shown on the product page or at checkout.

Can I order a photograph I saw on social media?

Often, yes. If a photograph is not currently listed in the online collection, send the studio a link or screenshot. Availability, edition status, suitable print dimensions and pricing can then be confirmed.

Fine art prints & editions

The artwork itself.

What is the difference between a limited edition and an open edition print?

A limited edition is produced in a restricted, numbered quantity. Once that edition is sold, it will not be reproduced in the same edition format. Open edition prints are not restricted to a fixed number. Both are signed by Dani Watson.

How are Dani Watson prints produced?

Prints are made in Australia using archival fine art production. The current collection is giclée printed on heavyweight Hahnemühle rag paper, chosen for its tonal detail, surface quality and longevity.

What sizes are available?

Standard options include Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large, depending on the artwork. Because photographs have different proportions, the exact dimensions are displayed on each product page.

Can I request a custom print size?

Yes, custom sizing can be considered. Share the available wall dimensions—even one measurement is enough to begin—and the studio can calculate a proportional print size that protects the original composition.

How should I care for an unframed fine art print?

Handle the print as little as possible and arrange professional framing promptly. Keep it away from moisture and direct sunlight, and ask your framer to use archival materials and UV-protective glazing.

Custom sizes & framing

Completing the work.

Framing should protect the photograph, suit its proportions and feel resolved within the room.

Keep policy details current. When a shipping, tax, payment or production term changes, update this FAQ and its linked policy page together.
Do you offer professional framing?

Yes. Selected fine art prints can be ordered in Dani Watson’s signature gallery framing style using sustainable timber, conservation-grade materials and UV-protective acrylic.

Will my framed artwork arrive ready to hang?

Yes. Framed works are completed with hanging hardware and packaged for delivery so they can be installed after arrival.

How long does framing take?

Allow up to 28 business days for production before shipping. Each artwork is printed to order, signed and professionally framed before it leaves the studio or framing workshop.

Where can I find the exact framed dimensions?

Dimensions vary according to print size, artwork proportion and framing format. The current standard dimensions and framing construction are maintained on the dedicated framing page.

Can you help me choose a frame or artwork scale?

When will my print be dispatched?

Fine art prints are made to order. Production time depends on the artwork and whether framing is selected. Framed works may require up to 28 business days before dispatch; delivery time begins after production is complete.

How are unframed and framed prints packaged?

Unframed prints are rolled into a reinforced protective tube. Framed artworks are packed in a custom travel box designed to protect the completed frame during courier delivery.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Tracking details are sent after dispatch. Check the email address used at checkout, including spam or promotions folders, before contacting the studio.

What should I do if my order is urgent?

Contact the studio before ordering. Include the artwork, destination and date required. Rush production or delivery cannot always be guaranteed, but the studio can confirm what is realistically possible.

Returns, exchanges & transit damage

When something has gone wrong.

The key requirement is to open the package promptly and keep every part of the original packaging while a damage claim is reviewed.

Keep policy details current. When a shipping, tax, payment or production term changes, update this FAQ and its linked policy page together.
Can I return a print because I changed my mind?

Photographic print purchases are final for change of mind. Each work is produced specifically for the order, so exchanges or refunds are not generally available once production has begun.

Read the complete returns policy →

What if my print or frame arrives damaged?

Contact the studio within seven days of receiving the order. Open the package within that period, retain the artwork and all original packaging, and provide clear photographs of the damage and shipping box.

Can sale or promotional items be returned?

Products purchased using a promotional code or at a reduced price are not eligible for a change-of-mind refund. Damage in transit should still be reported promptly under the damaged-delivery process.

Are books refundable?

Books are non-refundable. Report any transit damage within seven days and keep the original packaging while the studio reviews the claim.

Copyright, licensing & privacy

Using images and personal information.

Fine art ownership does not transfer copyright. This section explains permissions, crediting and how contact details are handled.

Keep policy details current. When a shipping, tax, payment or production term changes, update this FAQ and its linked policy page together.
Can I reproduce or use a Dani Watson photograph?

Permission is required before any photograph is reproduced, published, copied or used commercially. Licensing depends on the image, intended use, duration, territory and audience.

Send an image licensing enquiry →

How should a licensed image be credited?

The required credit and link are confirmed as part of the licensing agreement. Do not assume that a social-media tag alone provides permission or satisfies the agreed credit terms.

Will my personal details be kept private?

Your information is used to process orders and respond to enquiries. Marketing emails are only sent when you separately choose to subscribe.

Where is the Dani Watson studio located?

Dani Watson Gallery is based in Australia. Studio visits are not assumed to be available; contact the studio before planning an in-person visit or collection.
