Custom-size fine art photography printsMade for the wall you actually have.
When a standard size is not quite right, Dani can calculate a proportional custom print size that protects the original composition and feels considered within your space.
- One measurement is enough
- Proportional sizing
- Framing guidance
- Personal quotation

Why request a custom size?
The right photograph can still feel wrong at the wrong scale.
Custom sizing is useful when the wall, furniture or architectural proportions require something more considered than the standard options shown in the online store.
A difficult wall
Long, narrow, tall or unusually proportioned spaces often need an artwork sized beyond standard formats.
Protect the composition
The image ratio is preserved wherever possible, avoiding arbitrary cropping or stretching.
Resolve the full piece
Print size, border, mat and frame can be considered together rather than as separate decisions.
Create visual balance
The finished scale can respond to furniture, architecture, negative space and the way the room is used.
The custom-size process
Four simple steps from wall measurement to quotation.
You do not need architectural plans or a finished interior scheme. A print title, one wall measurement and a useful room photograph are enough to begin.
Choose the artwork
Send the title or link to the Dani Watson photograph you are considering.
Share one measurement
Provide the maximum width, height or available wall area. One fixed measurement can be enough.
Show the space
A straight-on room photograph and nearby furniture dimensions help clarify scale and placement.
Receive a recommendation
Dani confirms a proportional size, available presentation options and a tailored quotation.
Proportion before dimension
Every photograph has a shape that belongs to it.
A custom size should enlarge or reduce the artwork without distorting its visual language. The original aspect ratio guides the matching width or height.
Panoramic
Long walls, beds, consoles and spaces where a low horizontal rhythm feels natural.
Browse orientation →Landscape
Versatile above sofas, dining settings and architectural furniture arrangements.
Browse orientation →Portrait
Useful for narrow walls, vertical architecture and spaces between windows or doorways.
Browse orientation →Square
Balanced, contained and effective alone, paired or arranged as a series.

Prepare your custom-size request
The more useful the brief, the more useful the recommendation.
Precise measurements are helpful, but the context around them matters too. These details allow scale, proportion, framing and delivery to be considered together.
- Artwork title or product link
- Known wall width, height or maximum artwork size
- A straight-on photograph of the wall
- Width of the furniture beneath or beside the artwork
- Framed, unframed or currently undecided
- Delivery suburb, postcode and country
Print and framing considered together
The outside dimension matters as much as the print itself.
When framing is selected, the mat, moulding and finished external size all influence whether the artwork will fit the intended wall. The custom-size conversation can account for the completed piece—not just the paper measurement.
- Australian-made gallery framing
- Conservation-grade presentation materials
- UV-protective acrylic and ready-to-hang finish

Custom print size FAQs
Questions before requesting a quotation.
Custom sizing is collaborative. These answers explain what can be confirmed immediately and what depends on the individual photograph and project.
Can every Dani Watson photograph be made in a custom size?
Many works can be produced outside the standard sizes, but availability depends on the artwork, edition, original file, aspect ratio and production requirements. Dani will confirm suitability before providing a quote.
Do you need both the width and height of my wall?
No. One known measurement can be enough to calculate the matching proportional dimension. A wall photograph and any maximum size restrictions are also useful.
Will the photograph be cropped to fit my wall?
The aim is to preserve the original composition. Cropping is not applied automatically. When a requested wall shape conflicts with the artwork’s ratio, Dani will explain the available alternatives.
Can I request a custom framed size?
Custom print and finished framed dimensions can be discussed together. Available moulding, mat and production options will be confirmed as part of the quotation.
How much does a custom-size print cost?
Pricing depends on the artwork, dimensions, edition, print-only or framed presentation, packaging and delivery destination. A tailored quote is provided after the brief is reviewed.
How long will a custom order take?
Timing depends on the final specification and current production schedule. Your quotation should confirm the estimated production period before you approve the order.
Can trade and interior design clients request multiple custom sizes?
Yes. Interior designers, architects, hospitality and commercial clients can submit a project brief through the Trade & Wholesale service for curation, sizing and project quoting.
