ARTIST STATEMENT

Recently, I decided to take a trip to Skillion, a place that never ceases to amaze me. This time, I was eager to capture the beauty of the Skillion at high tide, something I had never attempted earlier owing to safety concerns during high tide.

As soon as I got there, I spent almost 20 minutes observing the waves, meticulously calculating the highs and lows to ensure that I could take the perfect shot without risking my safety. With my rock boots on and keen eye for the ideal shot, Iound, never taking my eyes off the ocean for a second, slowly moved around.

And boy, was it worth it! The shots I got that evening are, without a doubt, some of my favourite work in this spot. The flow and texture of the ocean were captured perfectly, and the subtle colours of the overcast light added an element of mystery and intrigue to my shots. I can safely say that capturing the Skillion at high tide is truly an unforgettable experience.
