ARTIST STATEMENT
From high above, Lake Tyrell reveals its artistry—a tree-like formation delicately carved into the salt-crusted surface, resembling an ancient, weathered tree flourishing in the midst of arid land. The aerial perspective unveils this natural masterpiece, with its stark contrast between the chalky white salts and the warm, earthy tones below, each layer of colour mirroring the landscape’s essence.
The “branches” of this salt tree stretch outward, etched naturally by the lake’s unique salinity and seasonal rains. The central “trunk” flows downward, as if nourishing the ground in reverse, a surreal scene suspended in quiet, powerful stillness. There’s a sense of timelessness here, an untouched beauty that has stood for countless years, absorbing each passing season without change.
Standing above this phenomenon, there’s a profound realisation of nature’s incredible creativity, which thrives beyond our gaze in remote, hidden corners. This tree-shaped salt formation symbolises resilience and beauty in the harshness of the salt plains. Lightweight museum grade acrylic ensures that your framed artwork is installed easily and does not require a professional hanging service.
Once you have received your framed artwork, it is ready to hang.
DELIVERY
Please allow 28 days for delivery. Your artwork is printed to order and personally signed by Dani in her studio before being delivered to the art framer to be custom-framed and finished. It is then shipped securely in a custom-made wooden travel box to ensure its safe delivery to your address.
