ARTIST STATEMENT

Standing beside this abandoned relic, we feel as though we’ve stumbled upon a piece of history, left to quietly rest beneath the vast, open sky. The truck, emblazoned with "Glenbower" on its door, is like a storyteller whose tales are etched in rust and peeling paint. Time has taken its toll, but the spirit of countless journeys and rugged landscapes endures in the faded metal.

The wind rustles through the dry grasses around us, swaying in harmony with the silent rhythm of the land. The sky stretches endlessly above, wisps of clouds moving lazily, casting gentle shadows over the scene. Together, we stand in reverence, feeling the weight of the years that have passed since this truck last roared to life. It’s a poignant reminder of an era when roads were rugged, and every journey was an adventure filled with grit and resilience.

In this forgotten corner, nature and time have blended to create a scene that feels both lonely and serene, as though this old truck is content in its retirement, watching over the landscape it once traversed. Please allow 28 days for delivery. Your artwork is printed to order and personally signed by Dani in her studio before being delivered to the art framer to be custom-framed and finished. It is then shipped securely in a custom-made wooden travel box to ensure its safe delivery to your address.
