About the photograph

Shot straight down from above, a athletics track turns into pure colour, line and shape. All Court Up is my aerial series on sports spaces: familiar places reduced to graphic, almost painterly compositions, with a single small human detail to give them scale. Bold and modern, it brings energy to a room.

Part of the All Court Up portfolio that won the Art category of the 2023 Australian Emerging Photographers awards.
