Melbourne holds a different shape from above.
At dusk, Albert Park becomes a quiet threshold between the built and the breathing world. The lake sits wide and still, pulling the last light into its surface, while the city gathers itself on the horizon — vertical, glassed, precise. Between them, the park curves through the frame in soft greens and muted lines, a stretch of open space held close by movement.
There is something compelling about this contrast. The skyline feels almost staged in the distance, glowing with the residue of day, while the palms, roads and fairways below form their own quieter rhythm. Nothing feels still for long, yet nothing feels rushed either. It is Melbourne in suspension — not quite day, not yet night.
From this perspective, the familiar becomes more abstract. Roads become gestures. Trees become texture. The city becomes a collection of forms catching light before disappearing into evening.
