Connection.
An exploration of still photography and moving image, in exhibition and published form, by Dani Watson.
The project
A re-evaluation of how we see the land.
Connection is a multidimensional exploration that intertwines still photography and moving images in exhibition and published form. It emerges from an in-depth examination of the motivations that underpin my engagement with landscape photography.
By challenging conventional perspectives and advocating for a re-evaluation of how we perceive and interact with the world, Connection attempts to redefine the parameters of photographic practice. The approaches to new technologies serve both as a personal exploration and as a broader commentary on the evolving relationship between people and their environment, and how it is depicted through photography.
