In the tranquil country town of Bacchus Marsh, a beautiful thoroughfare graces its entrance, known as the Avenue of Honour; this pathway was more than just a scenic route; it is a living testament to history.
In the early 20th century, when the First World War gripped the world, the people of Bacchus Marsh sought a way to honour their brave men and women fighting overseas. Thus, the idea of the Avenue of Honour was born. For every local hero who left for the war, a tree was planted in their name along this avenue, creating a lush, green corridor that stretched on for miles.
As years turned into decades, the Avenue of Honour became a magnificent sight. Elms and oaks stood tall and proud, their leaves rustling like whispers of the past, each tree symbolising a courageous individual who had served their country. It became a place of remembrance, reflection, and immense pride for the residents of Bacchus Marsh.
Visitors entering the town would marvel at the stunning spectacle of the Avenue of Honour. The sun-dappled pathway, lined with towering trees, contrasts the otherwise quiet country landscape. The Avenue wasn't just aesthetically pleasing - it was a profound reminder of the sacrifices made by the heroes of Bacchus Marsh.

Please allow 28 days for delivery. Your artwork is printed to order and personally signed by Dani in her studio before being delivered to the art framer to be custom-framed and finished. It is then shipped securely in a custom-made wooden travel box to ensure its safe delivery to your address.
