Embark on a captivating journey through the Macedon Ranges with our bespoke photography masterclass, meticulously designed to immerse participants in capturing the essence of one of Victoria's most picturesque regions. From the solemn beauty of the Avenue of Honour to the enchanting private gardens adorned with Japanese maples, this masterclass is an invitation to explore, learn, and create.

The day commences at our predetermined meeting point, where our team of expert guides will warmly welcome participants. Our guides are professional photographers passionate about showcasing the unique beauty of the Macedon Ranges. After brief introductions and a quick overview of the day's plan, we'll venture into the heart of the ranges, armed with cameras and a keen sense of adventure.

Our first stop is the iconic Avenue of Honour, a poignant tribute offering historical significance and visual splendour. Participants will learn to capture the interplay of light and shadow among the rows of trees, creating powerful images that convey depth and emotion. This session emphasises composition and perspective, setting the tone for the day's exploration.

Following this reflective start, we'll pause for a coffee break in the presence of an iconic church whose architectural beauty provides another layer of photographic subject matter. This break is not just a moment for refreshment but also an opportunity for participants to engage in discussions, share insights, and foster a sense of camaraderie that will enhance the learning experience throughout the day.

Re-energized, we proceed to a private garden renowned for its spectacular colour palette, including the vibrant hues of Japanese maples. The focus will be mastering techniques such as focusing close-ups, controlling depth of field, and using natural light to accentuate colours.

As lunchtime approaches, we'll indulge in local cuisine, sampling dishes that reflect the region's culinary heritage. The afternoon sees us visiting another private garden, offering a new array of subjects for our lenses. Our masterclass concludes as we return to our meeting point, but the journey of discovery and growth does not end here.
